Call for papers

You are cordially invited to use the form below as your expression of interest in submitting a colloquium (with others) or a paper for the Third Hong Kong Web Symposium. If you wish to submit more than one paper, please use this form as many times as necessary.

Please note the following important dates:

15 March 1997 - Deadline for submission of title and brief abstract of paper (using form below).
30 March 1997 - Deadline for submission of a fully developed paper in HTML format for inclusion in a book of proceedings, using a prescribed referencing style.
2 April 1997 - Notification of acceptance of paper for inclusion in the book.
30 April 1997 - publication of book of proceedings.

Other important points to note:

Only papers which are relevant to the theme and topics of the symposium will be accepted.
Papers submitted should be in HTML format so that they can also be presented via the Web.
Papers can be jointly presented or presented in 'colloquium' format.
Papers may be written in either English or Chinese.
Copyright of accepted and published papers will be jointly owned by the author(s) and the Social Sciences Research Centre of The University of Hong Kong.
